Job Summary
Instructor II (field) leads classroom and simulation-lab training for developmental controllers, CPCs, and RPOs at FAA field sites in Albuquerque; develops and revises courseware and contributes to Instructional Systems Design while mentoring students and frontline air traffic personnel. Must have five+ years CPC live-traffic experience, en route ARTCC background, Simulation Lab Certification, PC proficiency, and the ability to obtain U.S. suitability/public trust clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of CPC experience controlling live traffic
- En route experience at an ARTCC
- Simulation Laboratory Certification
- Working familiarity with personal computers, operating systems, and application software
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust background clearance
