Job Summary
Teach undergraduate History courses focusing on Canada: War and Nationalism; duties include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time (lecture/seminar preparation, marking and grading, course administration including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty). Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Canadian History
- Demonstrated knowledge of and expertise in the history of war, ethnicity, and national identity in Canada since the late 19th century
- Demonstrated scholarly engagement with the historical profession
- Experience in teaching undergraduate university History courses
- Evidence of teaching excellence in History at the undergraduate university level (e.g., letters of reference, course/performance evaluations, and/or other components of a teaching dossier)
- Note: This position involves working with teaching assistants.
