Job Summary
Healthcare Career Program, Clinical Track Instructor to teach courses such as Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, Lab Procedures and Phlebotomy, Medical Billing and Coding, and more. Responsibilities include planning and delivering in-class instruction with the approved curriculum, preparing lesson plans, delivering lectures, facilitating Project-Based Learning (PBL), assisting students, evaluating progress with various assessment tools, reporting SAP, participating in campus-wide meetings, staying current with teaching advancements, preparing students for real-world job skills and certifications when applicable, and contributing to program improvement through committees. Requires a BS in healthcare or related field and 2 years of recent clinical/medical assisting experience; preferred certifications include CEHRS, CBCS, CCA, BLS, CPT, CET, CCMA, or RMA; proficient in MS Office applications; paid time off offered.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in healthcare or a related field
- 2 years of recent clinical or medical assisting experience
- Preferred healthcare industry certification in either CEHRS, CBCS, CCA, BLS, CPT, CET, CCMA or RMA
- Solid administrative abilities (MS Office Suite Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
