Job Summary
Conduct scheduled contact time with students for BIOL 2P97, including preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking, and grading. Manage course administration, including grade appeals and academic dishonesty cases. Adhere to Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement regarding contact and non-classroom hours. This half-course position (195 hours) requires a PhD in Biological Sciences and experience teaching quantitative research methods at the undergraduate level.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Biological Sciences or related discipline
- Experience in teaching quantitative research methods
- Prior teaching and/or research experience in the study of Biological Sciences
- Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations)
