Job Summary
Instructor GEOG 1P11 - Our Environment: Landscapes, Soils, and Water. Course delivery is In Person at Brock University's St. Catharines Main Campus. Duties follow the Collective Agreement and include scheduled contact time with students, preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration including grade appeals and addressing cases of academic dishonesty. Qualifications emphasize a Ph.D. or ABD in Geography (Masters also welcome), with specialization in Physical Geography (Geomorphology, Hydrology, and/or Soil Science), plus demonstrated successful teaching of Physical Geography and large university courses. Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or ABD in Geography preferred, although applicants holding a Masters Degree are also welcome to apply
- Specialization in Physical Geography (Geomorphology, Hydrology, and/or Soil Science)
- Demonstrated successful teaching experience in Physical Geography
- Demonstrated success teaching large university courses
