Instructor FREN 1F90 Fall/Winter D1 (Section 6)

Teach second-year French language courses (FREN 1F90) at Brock University in a face-to-face delivery mode. Responsibilities include scheduled student contact and non-classroom time (preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty). Work closely with the BUFA course coordinator for multi-section courses or with the Director of French Studies for single-section courses. Qualifications require a graduate degree in French studies with sustained teaching success at the university level, native or near-native English and French, and competency in Standard International French. Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team, participate in curriculum development, test preparation, and online teaching tools (including Brightspace and general office software). Availability for office hours (approximately 1.5 hours per section per week) and proctoring exams.
