Job Summary
Delivers assigned traditional and virtual courses while maintaining and revising course materials as required. Certifies in courses per the certification plan and applies adult learning theory to engage students and facilitate group activities. Conducts classroom administration including set-up and roster circulation as part of a teaching team. Manages student learning activities and provides coaching to improve skills such as listening and questioning. Travels to deliver instruction as needed. This consultant position supports workforce transformation for commercial, civilian, and defense organizations through customized learning solutions.
Required Qualifications
- MA/MS in Business Administration, Adult Learning, Organizational Development or other area of study comparably relevant, from a regionally accredited college or university
- Three to five years of experience as a facilitator in a formal traditional or virtual training environment
- Possess expertise in the facilitation of learning and the transfer of job-related knowledge
- Highly experienced in motivating learners and engaging a variety of learning techniques to ensure context specific learning
- Five years of experience as a manager or supervisor
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a manager in federal agencies highly preferred
