Required Qualifications

• •Verifiable work experience in the electrical construction industry
• •Journeyman or master electrician's license through TDLR
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of safety and PPE protocols
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of NEC applications and requirements
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of AC and DC circuits
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of installation of NM and MC cable systems
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of calculation of branch, feeder, and service loads
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of establishing wire sizes and overcurrent protection
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of blueprint interpretation
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of residential, commercial, and industrial wiring applications
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of conduit bending, strapping, and support systems
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of single and three phase electrical systems
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of wire pulling
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of grounding and bonding
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of panel termination
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of device installation
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of service entrances
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of basic PLCs and motor controls
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of electrical testing instruments
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of hand and power tools
• •Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of basic computer skills

• •Electrical training/teaching experience
• •OSHA 10 training or above
