Job Summary
Instructor/Controller provides technical expertise for set-up, configuration, operation, training and troubleshooting of command and control information systems and simulation/gaming tools. He/she will support exercise control, design, planning, preparation, execution and recovery of systems to meet training objectives, deliver professional instruction in classroom or lab environments to audiences up to ~50 personnel, provide IT configuration and quality assurance, assist with After Action Review processes, and develop and manage instruction programs for simulation systems in alignment with customer requirements. Onsite/Hybrid/Remote work schedules are subject to contract requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent
- U.S. Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret w/SCI
- Experience with Army constructive and virtual models and simulations (3+ years in relevant Army branches)
- Experience with Army Mission Command Information Systems
- Experience creating gaming simulation databases
- Experience with DoD modeling and simulation programs
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- IT systems and network experience desired
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day or night, for extended periods
- Ability to travel to various locations in Europe and Africa (USAREUR-AF Theater)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to document and update processes
- Ability to work with senior Government and Industry leaders
