Job Summary
Administers all forms of anesthesia for surgical or medical procedures in pediatric patients, including inhaled, intravenous, neuraxial, and regional techniques. Performs preoperative anesthetic evaluation and formulates anesthetic plans; inserts and uses invasive and noninvasive monitors; responds to emergencies/code situations for airway management; documents anesthetic information and patient condition; may supervise or direct student CRNAs. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Current RN license by the Texas Board of Nursing
- Current CRNA certification from NBCRNA
- APRN
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
