Job Summary
Teach 21st-century STEM concepts and LEGO® building skills to school-age children ages 4-13 in a safe, nurturing environment. Manage class sizes up to 15 students while completing administrative tasks and following lesson plans. Maintain a safe environment and ensure reliable transportation to various locations across Lake, Porter, LaPorte, and Will counties. This role offers flexible part-time scheduling of 2 to 5 days per week with competitive pay starting at $30-$40 per class. A successful background check is required for all instructors.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with children ages 4-14
- Classroom management skills with class sizes up to 10-15 students
- Reliable transportation to locations
- Excellent work ethic, punctuality, and time management skills
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Enjoyment of STEM concepts
- Ability to complete administrative tasks and follow lesson plans
- Successful background check
