Job Summary
Develop an active clinical practice serving full-scope women's health needs including outpatient clinics, inpatient labor and delivery, post-partum care, gynecological surgeries, and office procedures. Provide medical student and resident teaching through clinical care training, presentations, didactics, and research projects while participating in department governance and preparing evaluation materials. Support annual academic goals by advancing patient care quality, process improvements, and research activities, and render service to the professional and lay communities. Positions are 100% clinical with teaching responsibilities at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center or West Chest Hospital. Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required alongside an active Ohio medical license.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Completion of a 4-year board-certified residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active and unrestricted Ohio medical license
- Board certification or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Positions will be 100% clinical with clinical teaching
- Developing an active clinical practice serving full-scope women's health needs such as outpatient clinic, inpatient labor and delivery, post-partum care, gynecological surgeries and in office procedures
- Medical student and resident teaching by participating in clinical care training, presentations, didactics and research projects
- Attend meetings, participate in governance, prepare materials for teaching which includes evaluating learners
- Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities
- Render service to the professional or lay community which is relevant to the individual's academic specialty
- Support the department's annual academic goals, such as, patient care quality, process improvements, meeting educational standards, and participation in supporting research activities
- Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications
- Other related duties as assigned

- Official academic transcripts will be required at the time of hire

- Candidates should have an interest in developing and maintaining an active clinical practice, medical and resident student teaching, and other research academic activities
