Job Summary
Full-time Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) and/or Curriculum/Content developer responsible for designing and developing instructor-led training content for the Joint Staff JDNO program at the Joint Interoperability & Data Link Training Center (JID-TC). Responsibilities include creating engaging learning activities and materials across formats (video, print, multimedia) using ADDIE and adult learning principles; producing storyboards, objectives, workbooks, lesson and course management plans, evaluation plans, survey instruments, graphics, and assessments; collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to align materials and update content; and ensuring content accuracy and alignment with project objectives. Required skills include a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years (or 7+ years of operational experience in lieu of degree), U.S. Citizenship, DoD-environment experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Articulate360, LMS experience, and ability to obtain/government security clearance. Preferred DoD secret clearance and LMS administration experience. Onsite role located at Pope Army Airfield Fort Bragg, NC, with minimal travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in teaching methodology or business training development with a minimum of 5 years' experience or in lieu of degree more than 7 years' operational experience
- U.S. Citizenship
- At least 5 years' related experience in instructional development and knowledge of technology-based training
- At least 5 years demonstrated experience developing training requirements
- At least 5 years of adult learning training development
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency with Articulate360 (Storyline360)
- Proficiency with LMS platforms and DoD environment tools
- Eligible for Government Security Clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to build relationships with instructor teams and military staff
