Job Summary
Instructional Specialists provide leadership in curriculum implementation, instructional best practices, data-driven decision-making, technology integration, and professional learning. This role collaborates with teachers, school leaders, and district departments to improve student achievement, strengthen instructional capacity, and support district initiatives by modeling effective instructional practices, coaching educators, designing professional learning experiences, analyzing multiple sources of student achievement data, and promoting the integration of digital resources and technology across traditional and digital learning environments.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Valid Georgia Professional Educator Certificate
- Minimum of five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience with evidence of positive student achievement outcomes
- Demonstrated expertise in standards-based instruction, instructional coaching, and professional learning facilitation
- Experience integrating instructional technology to enhance teaching and learning in both traditional and digital learning environments
- Proficiency with educational technology platforms and tools including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace for Education, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Student Information Systems (SIS), Assessment and data analysis platforms, Interactive presentation and collaboration tools
