Job Summary
Under direction of a certified teacher, instructs students and adapts curriculum to meet needs of students. Duties include administering tests and assessments; monitors students’ IEP progress; and documents behavior, progress, and results of student activities. Provides one-on-one and/or group tutoring in various curricular areas; monitors behavior inside and outside the classroom; escorts students on campus; assists with classroom preparation, grading papers, and preparing instructional materials; participates in ongoing training and meetings; and maintains student records in applicable computer programs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- one year of educational or clerical experience
- Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days
- Valid Department of Public Safety (DPS) Arizona FPCC
