Job Summary
Instructional Support Leader (ISL) will provide non-evaluative, side-by-side coaching for teachers, model lessons, co-teach, and observe to deliver high-quality feedback; design and facilitate professional development aligned with district priorities; lead data analysis sessions to group students for intervention and refine Tier 1 instruction; build the instructional toolbox for both new and veteran teachers with engagement strategies and literacy frameworks; collaborate with teachers during planning periods to ensure standards-aligned, culturally responsive lessons; partner with the Building Principal to monitor the School Improvement Plan and instructional initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Education
- Missouri Teaching Certification in Early Childhood (B-3) or Elementary 1-6
- Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience
- Experience coaching adult learners, designing professional development, and facilitating collaborative planning teams
- Data analysis and translating data into instructional adjustments
- Ability to provide non-evaluative, side-by-side coaching and feedback
- Experience leading professional development and designing engaging professional learning opportunities
