Instructional Specialist (Math Focus)

Collaborate with teachers and administrators to identify and develop instructional strategies that effectively address instructional needs and provide professional development. Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers to improve instructional delivery and student engagement. Analyze student achievement data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and effective instructional practices. Facilitate professional development sessions to enhance teachers' pedagogical skills, content knowledge, and use of instructional technology. Serve as a resource and mentor for teachers, offering support, guidance, and expertise in instructional methodologies and classroom management strategies. Assist in the development and implementation of initiatives to promote a culture of continuous improvement and student-centered learning. Reports to the Assistant Superintendent of School Performance. Full-time schedule with Instructional Specialist Supplement. Requires valid NC teaching license, Master's degree preferred, and five years of content area teaching experience.
