Job Summary
Instructional Specialist - Math at Waco Independent School District. Exempt/Contract role reporting to the Principal, responsible for systematically facilitating instructional improvement and student success by collaborating with campus leadership, teachers, and district curriculum and instruction leaders. Lead data-driven coaching, lesson planning, observation, and job-embedded professional development to support teacher growth and sustained instructional transformation. Requires strong content knowledge, leadership abilities to influence and lead change, effective communication, and experience in mentoring/coaching teachers, with a focus on standards-based planning, RTI/MTSS, data-driven instruction, and implementation of professional development across campus and district levels.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- Master’s Degree in content assignment preferred
