Job Summary
Literacy Instructional Specialist provides literacy coaching, professional development, and differentiated instruction support to classroom staff across K-12; leads modeling, co-teaching, and coaching aligned with NYS standards and the Science of Reading; oversees literacy assessments, CBT and Regents exams, and development of literacy curriculum and interventions; requires NYS certification in Literacy (and preference for Special Education), with at least 5 years teaching experience; full-time position at Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES with compensation $46,500–$66,500 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years teaching experience
- New York State Certification in Literacy
- New York State Certification in Special Education (preferred)
