Job Summary
Provides expertise in collaborative activities, strategic planning, and professional development to ensure licensing compliance and enhance language and literacy skills for three- and four-year-olds; leads professional learning communities for teacher leaders and school leaders; designs and delivers district professional learning for teachers and partners with Directors of Schools; advances culturally responsive education; analyzes district local assessment data and classroom observations to inform school support; supports multilingual education through coaching and professional learning; assists with district curriculum adoption and implementation; prepares summaries and reports for regional planning and community reporting purposes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Human Development
- Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Four years teaching experience in Early Education with at least two years of experience coaching other teachers
- Valid teaching certificate at the appropriate level; Reading Teacher endorsement, Reading Specialist endorsement, Bilingual or ESL endorsement preferred
