Job Summary
Facilitate ELAR/Social Studies curricular improvement and support teachers and administrators by developing, revising, aligning, and implementing district curriculum; design and implement local assessments; develop high-quality instruction and interventions; deliver professional development and mentor teachers; analyze assessment data to guide instructional decisions; collaborate with department chairs and staff to enhance learning for a culturally diverse student population; meet weekly with department teachers and participate in district professional development as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Valid Texas Teacher Certification
- Five years experience as a classroom teacher
