Instructional Paraprofessional - Elementary

Support the instructional program within assigned classrooms by adapting activities for special needs students, administering first aid and medical assistance, and assisting with self-care tasks like toileting and dressing. Provide direct instruction in academic subjects, social skills, and daily living activities while monitoring student behavior and implementing individualized behavioral plans. Administer tests, collect data on progress, and perform clerical duties such as screening calls and maintaining records. Escort students to and from classes, supervise them in hallways and playgrounds, and report incidents to staff. Complete mandatory employee training within three months of employment.
