Instructional Paraprofessional - Elementary

Support instructional programs at Falcons Nest before school by supervising, caring for, and instructing special needs students in the resource classroom. Adapt classroom activities to reinforce IEP goals, administer tests and homework, and assist with lesson assignments including reading, writing, and computer programs. Provide self-care assistance for hygiene needs, implement behavioral plans from student IEPs, and monitor students in various school environments to ensure safety. Administer first aid and medical assistance as instructed, collect data on student progress, and perform clerical duties such as screening calls and maintaining records. Report observations and incidents to staff while modeling appropriate social behavior. Complete mandatory employee training within the first three months of employment.
