Job Summary
Noncertified instructional STEM support for grades K-8 at Grangeville Elementary/Middle School. Requires at least 2 years of experience working with children in a school setting and 32 college credits toward Highly Qualified Paraprofessional, or the ability to become Highly Qualified soon after hire by taking and passing the Paraprofessional Praxis exam. Applicants must provide transcripts or Praxis proof to the District Office, and a background check will be completed upon hire. Salary is determined by the 2026-27 non-certified salary schedule.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in handling children in a school setting
- 32 college credits in an educational field to be a Highly Qualified Paraprofessional, or the ability to become Highly Qualified after hire by taking and passing the Paraprofessional Praxis exam
- Provide unofficial college/university transcripts as proof of Highly Qualified credits OR provide proof (copy) of Paraprofessional Praxis exam
- Background check upon date of hire
- Salary based on 2026-27 non-certified salary schedule
