Instructional Leaders-Service as Action . INTERNAL POSTING

The Instructional Leader for Service as Action (IB MYP) will lead and coordinate the IB MYP Service as Action program within St. Margaret’s School, aligning with IB philosophy and school strategic goals. Responsibilities include guiding students in planning, completing, and reflecting on service activities; monitoring participation and maintaining documentation; building community partnerships; providing staff resources and communicating program expectations to students, staff, and families; promoting student agency and leadership; and contributing to program evaluation and improvement. The role also supports colleagues in developing high-quality programming across disciplines, facilitates professional learning communities and Curriculum Team participation, and helps advance a culture of achievement and experiential learning. Requires BC teaching certification, strong understanding of adolescent development, and a track record in instructional leadership, coaching, and cross-team collaboration; a commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-centered learning; and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a school environment.
