Job Summary
Instructional Lead Strategist focused on elevating instructional quality across K-12. Plans and delivers content-related and strategic instructional training, develops and maintains a coordinated instructional program to meet diverse student needs, provides instructional coaching and professional training (one-on-one, demonstrations, small groups, or whole staff) to promote continuous improvement, supports Professional Learning Communities and Instructional Framework alignment, trains on classroom technology use, models evidence-based instructional strategies, and collaborates with administrators and teachers to tailor instructional decisions using assessment and other data. Leads induction for new teachers, ensures alignment with formative assessment practices and School Improvement Plan data, and provides leadership in data-informed decision-making for student progress and promotion monitoring. Requires a BA/BS in Education with proper certification, at least five years of teaching experience, and a valid teaching credential as applicable; leadership experience at school/district level preferred; strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
Required Qualifications
- B.A. degree or higher in Education with proper certification as required by the Professional Standards Commission
- Minimum of five successful years of teaching with evidence of improving student achievement required
- Leadership experience at the school or district level preferred
- Strong knowledge of K-12 research-based instructional strategies and curriculum
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to design and implement high quality professional development for teachers/staff
- ability to use data for instructional decision-making
- strong organizational skills
- valid and appropriate license, certificate and/or credential as may be required for this position
