Job Summary
Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards. Lead by example to encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching while supervising teacher assistants and volunteers to ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth. Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and conferences, while ensuring all center policies and state regulations are met. Keep accurate forms and children documentation and maintain a healthy classroom environment. Work M-F 8:30-5:30 p.m. at St. John's Childcare in the Diocese of Fort Worth.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional education or experience in ECE
- Associate or bachelor's degree in child development
