Job Summary
Deliver part-time, on-campus theater instruction for the Arts+Media department, including acting, stagecraft, blocking, and production leadership; manage rehearsals, cast, and production logistics; mentor students in performance preparation for festivals and auditions; collaborate with music directors and technical theater staff to produce high-quality theater; integrate Biblical truth and Christian worldview into instructional practice; oversee the Thespian Troupe and participation in events such as the International Thespian Festival and Bobby G Awards; foster a student-centered, collaborative arts culture and support the Conservatory for the Arts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Theater, Musical Theater, Performing Arts, or a related field required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Demonstrated experience directing both dramatic and musical theater productions
- Experience teaching multiple levels of theater education, preferably at the high school level
- Working knowledge of theatrical production processes including lighting, sound, costumes, scenic design, and stage management
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Commitment to student development, artistic excellence, and collaborative program culture
- Solid biblical and theological foundation and understanding
- Desire to teach and/or experience within Christian education
