Job Summary
Instructional Development Manager leads design, development, and improvement of online, hybrid, and on-ground courses; serves as project manager for course development; collaborates with faculty, SMEs, and leadership; guides integration of Generative AI and educational technologies; develops engaging instructional materials using Canvas and tools like Articulate Storyline/RISE, Captivate, Camtasia; stays current with adult learning theory and emerging trends; supports continuous improvement via data analysis and feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Education, Curriculum Development, or related field
- Minimum two years of higher education experience in online/blended/adult learning environments
- At least three years of instructional design or curriculum development experience
- Experience incorporating educational technologies into teaching and learning environments
- Experience developing certification-aligned curriculum or assessments (preferred)
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools and their implications for instructional design, assessment, and learner engagement (highly desirable)
- Proficiency with LMS platforms (Canvas preferred) and digital authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline/RISE, Captivate, Camtasia, or similar platforms
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Collaborative mindset across academic and operational teams
- Comfortable working in hybrid and remote environments
