Job Summary
Conduct needs analyses and identify skill gaps to design engaging instructor-led training and e-learning materials for customer-facing support teams. Manage instructional design projects from start to finish, including creating multimedia content and uploading resources to Workday Learning. Collaborate with business partners and subject matter experts to develop course materials, revise existing training, and implement processes to assess training effectiveness and knowledge retention. Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions and coordinate distribution of materials for upcoming courses. Create training courses within a 2-3 week cycle while working with Project and Product Managers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of Instructional Design experience
- professional training experience
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to speak with large groups in online meeting settings
- Ability to take notes during conversations
- Skilled in eLearning design using multiple authoring tools like Camtasia, Articulate 360, (including Storyline and Rise), Powtoon, and Canva
- Experience working with and managing content in an LMS (Workday preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of instructional design, learning methodologies, evaluation and adult learning principles
- Proven ability to effectively consult and work collaboratively with different departments across sites and management levels
- Ability to quickly develop a wide breadth and depth of highly technical knowledge
- Ability to quickly create training courses within a 2-3 week cycle
- Strong working knowledge of small businesses and the use of domains, hosting, email, and site builders used to establish an online presence
- Organization, detail-orientation, time management and project management skills
- Proven ability to work creatively and independently while driving projects to success
- Strong knowledge of facilitation and classroom management skills
- Experience designing training materials for software or other technology, call center environments, and/or customer service/sales curriculum
