Job Summary
Design and develop high-quality, interactive digital learning experiences by translating approved content drafts into engaging eLearning modules, videos, simulations, and job aids. Collaborate with subject matter experts and curriculum developers to pressure-test course structure, sequencing, and learner experience while applying adult learning theory and best practices. Apply Kinaxis brand standards, content style guides, and WCAG Level A accessibility requirements across all deliverables. Contribute to reusable component libraries of templates and interaction patterns that scale across the curriculum. Liaise with product management and professional services to determine course direction and assess appropriateness. Work within the global supply chain management team to enable customer success on our platform.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, instructional technology, or a design-related field (graphic design, visual communication, etc.)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or eLearning development
- experience in designing and developing online learning materials using authoring tools such as Articulate Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Synthesia and other similar AI software
- Strong multimedia and visual composition skills: layout, color, hierarchy, and accessibility
- Familiar with user experience principles of design and design thinking
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement in learning theory and design
- Apply and extend the Kinaxis University brand system, content style guide, and accessibility standards, meeting WCAG Level A as a minimum on every deliverable
Desired Qualifications
- Portfolio strongly preferred
- Portfolio of digital learning work they personally designed and built
- experience in the SaaS or technology industry
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and Hands on Lab (HOL) systems
- Nice to have motion graphics or video animation skills
- Experience with tools such as After Effects, Vyond, or similar
