Job Summary

Develop and revise training documentation and material using military standards and the ADDIE instructional model within an AGILE software development environment. Create training documentation in accordance with military Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), define learning objectives, perform task analysis, and develop lesson plans, trainee guides, and visual aids. Conduct research to determine appropriate training methodologies (instructor-led, interactive multimedia, blended learning); provide analytical support for curricula design and policy development; conduct training effectiveness studies and promote process improvement for ADDIE-based training development. Requires Associates to Bachelors degree (based on level), 5–7 years of training development experience, DoD security clearance (or ability to obtain), U.S. citizenship, travel as needed, and experience in an Agile environment. Proficiency with MS Office Suite and/or Adobe Suites; strong communication and presentation skills; familiarity with military platforms and unit structures is preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years of training development experience
  • Associates to Bachelors degree (depending on position level)
  • DoD Security clearance (holds or has ability to obtain)
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Experience in Agile development environment
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and/or Adobe Suites
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Adept with multimedia training platforms and methods
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options, materials and alternatives
  • Ability to design and implement effective training and development
  • Prior knowledge of U.S. military platforms and unit structure preferred
  • Domestic and International travel to Military Installations may be required
