Job Summary
The Instructional Designer I supports the Department of Business Practices by developing engaging training materials and learning resources for Finance & Business Services staff. Collaborates with subject matter experts to plan, coordinate, and create instructional content, coordinates training video recordings, and develops eLearning modules, job aids, guides, and online training materials using instructional design best practices. Helps maintain and improve training materials to promote onboarding, compliance, and professional development, assists with reviews for usability and effectiveness, and provides administrative support for departmental events and communications. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and accommodates onboarding processes; strong ability to work with others, design online courses, and ensure accessibility and branding consistency across materials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, Business, Technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- No prior experience required
