Job Summary
Instructional Designer to collaborate with faculty and departments to design, develop, and support high-quality online, hybrid, and on-campus courses using the college's LMS; evaluate course design for RSI, WCAG, and Quality Matters; plan and deliver online and face-to-face training for faculty; provide design and technical consulting to promote active, collaborative learning; maintain tutorials and resources; stay updated on emerging technologies for teaching with technology; participate in faculty development and research to improve instructional practices; explore AI tools to enhance accessibility and design quality; manage faculty/staff training rooms and collaborate with IT, Media Services, and Library across locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience in instructional design, learning science or related field in an academic setting
