Job Summary
Instructional Designer to join Anduril's Test & Evaluation Training team. Responsible for designing and developing visual instructional content across instructor-led and e-learning formats, translating complex technical concepts into engaging learning experiences. Collaborates with SMEs, engineers, product teams, operators, maintainers, and pilots to identify training requirements and outcomes. Applies ADDIE and Kirkpatrick models to create curriculum frameworks, course outlines, evaluations, and materials; supports Train-the-Trainer and direct-to-customer deliverables. Travel to test sites to validate materials. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of instructional design experience; proficient with e-learning tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate) and SCORM/xAPI; strong skills with PowerPoint, InDesign, and Figma; familiarity with LMS/LXP; U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information; eligibility for Top Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Instructional Design Systems, Multimedia Design, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional instructional design experience
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms) and experience creating SCORM or xAPI-compliant content
- Experience conducting needs assessments, learning objectives development, and course evaluation strategies
- Strong ability to translate complex technical information into clear, engaging learning experiences for diverse audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and collaborative platforms like Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
