Instructional Design Intern

Job Summary
Design, develop, and update training modules for the Cybersecurity team while editing and proofreading learning materials to ensure quality and consistency. Create graphics and promotional assets, test eLearning courses for functionality, and partner with other divisions to upload and maintain learning modules. Participate in instructional design meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning to build a portfolio of real-world projects. This in-person internship is based at Headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, during the 2026–2027 academic year with potential summer continuation.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field
- A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects
- Able to work independently while also collaborating with a team
- This in-person internship is based at our Headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, during the 2026–2027 academic year, with the potential to continue through the summer
Desired Qualifications
- Bonus Points If You Have Experience with: Articulate Storyline or Articulate 360
- Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or other graphic design tools
- Creating presentations, videos, or other digital learning content
- Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration tools
- Coursework or a personal interest in cybersecurity
- Creative and enjoy solving problems / building new things
- Curious and excited to learn new technologies
- Open to feedback and eager to grow
- An eye for detail
