Instructional Design Coordinator

Job Summary
Instructional Design Coordinator responsible for coordinating staff tasks related to course development, course building, QA and release of courses. Aligns with design models and quality standards; stays current on learning theories and instructional design models; may have personnel-management experience. Drives monthly work plans with leads/managers, supports Canvas course planning, supervises the instructional design team to ensure adherence to processes and quality standards, and delivers status updates on courses in production. Collaborates with the LMS team to test new tools, presents solutions to student/faculty questions about course materials, identifies new technologies to enhance the instructional design model, assesses staffing needs, coordinates training for new personnel, and engages in faculty development and professional activities. Requires a Master’s degree and 3+ years in education management, proficiency with LMS/authoring tools, strong communication in Spanish and English, and the ability to work independently and in teams.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Teaching and Curriculum or Education
- Three (3) or more years of experience in an academic area or education management
- Technology proficient in Learning Management Systems and authoring tools
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
- Demonstrated experience in personnel management
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Bilingual: Spanish and English
