Job Summary
Lead literacy, math, or science programs by organizing teams to develop curriculum plans, guide teachers in embedding instructional strategies, and analyze student mastery data to coordinate interventions. Support staff through conferences, observations, and feedback while sharing effective strategies via workshops and assisting with unit planning. Collaborate on building core content knowledge, design professional development based on assessment data, and facilitate grade-level team sessions to improve achievement. Prepare weekly logs, statistical reports, and administrative documents to track teaching improvements. Maintain ongoing communication with teachers and leadership to ensure goal attainment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction or other relevant field of study
- Endorsement in the content area directly related to area of assignment
- Four (4) years of classroom experience related to the area of assignment
- Valid state of Tennessee teacher licensure certification
