Instructional Coach - Secondary Mathematics - Part-time

The Secondary Mathematics Instructional Coach partners with teachers to raise student achievement by implementing evidence-based practices aligned with MTSS and the Standards for Mathematical Practice. Through job-embedded coaching, modeling, collaborative planning, data analysis, and professional learning, the coach strengthens Tier 1 instruction and intervention, builds teacher capacity, and supports positive classroom culture and social-emotional learning. Responsibilities include developing confidential teacher relationships to provide professional growth opportunities, managing flexible scheduling, training on data use to improve teaching and learning, facilitating training on interventions, modeling research-based instructional strategies (including CHAMPS, Thinking Maps, Talk Moves, and co-teaching), leading district-wide professional development, integrating technology into instruction, and ensuring program services align with district curriculum while noting that funding is grant-supported with no guaranteed continued employment.
