Job Summary
Oversee classroom management and daily functions for multiple preschool groups while implementing the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum. Conduct informal observations to ensure curriculum delivery, then provide side-by-side coaching and feedback to teaching staff using Classroom Observation Forms and Teacher Evaluations. Collaborate with the Leadership Team to coordinate training plans for new staff, mentor teachers through continual improvement plans, and manage the mentorship program. Assist as a substitute teacher or breaker as needed and support the Director with assigned duties. This role empowers teachers to find solutions independently within a team-based environment at the Primrose School of Broken Arrow.
Required Qualifications
- A CDA, COM, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program or early education school
- Approved Entry-Level Child Care Training (ELCCT) listed on the Oklahoma Professional Development Registry (OPDR) website prior to employment
- CPR, First Aid, and Safe Sleep in the infant room are required or obtained during employment
- Master teacher level 3 ((Oklahoma Competency Certificate) or above required
