Job Summary
Instructional Coach position focusing on content and instructional expertise in reading, writing, and/or mathematics, delivering individual and group professional development, modeling demonstrations, observing classroom instruction, and coaching teachers one-on-one. Collaborates with administrators and teachers to analyze student work, design standards-based, high-quality instruction aligned to TEKS/SEs, and evaluate data to support school improvement and district/campus goals. Key duties include modeling lessons, facilitating professional learning communities, providing targeted feedback and 1:1 coaching, aligning teaching with TEKS-based assessments, and building positive relationships through effective communication. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree, valid Texas Teacher Certification, campus leadership experience, a strong curriculum background, and at least four years of teaching experience with professional development experience; strong emphasis on data-informed coaching, growth mindset, and collaboration with staff and administration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university or college
- Valid Texas Teacher Certification in early childhood or related fields
- Campus leadership experience
- Strong curriculum background in effective instruction
- At least four years successful teaching experience
- Experience with professional development and training
