Job Summary
Lead a team to develop literacy, math, or science plans for a school while guiding teachers in embedding instructional strategies and analyzing student mastery data. Conduct conferences, observations, and feedback sessions to support curriculum implementation and assist with unit and lesson planning. Collaborate with staff to build core content knowledge, analyze assessment data to target professional development needs, and facilitate grade-level team sessions. Communicate instructional best practices with school leadership and prepare weekly logs and statistical reports documenting activities. Maintain ongoing communication with teachers and administrators to meet identified instructional goals.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited college or university
- Master's Degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction or other relevant field of study
- Endorsement in the content area directly related to area of assignment
- Four (4) years of classroom experience related to the area of assignment
- Valid state of Tennessee teacher licensure certification
