Job Summary
Provide collaborative one-on-one instructional coaching to teachers, modeling best practices through classroom demonstrations and facilitating teacher inquiry. Lead data sessions analyzing formative and summative assessment results to suggest intervention strategies for struggling students while working with administrators to align work with district priorities. Assist in developing and implementing strategic improvement plans, ensuring state standards form the foundation of instruction, and helping teachers refine lesson plans and curriculum solutions. Coordinate staff development across campus and district levels, introduce research-based instructional strategies, and use technology to disaggregate test data for program improvement. Communicate effectively with school staff, district consultants, and feeder schools to strengthen the K-12 instructional program and maintain professional relationships with parents and community members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
- Highly qualified in area of endorsement
- Minimum 3 years in the classroom
- Experience using assessment results to shape instruction
