Job Summary
Model continuous improvement through coaching cycles involving modeling, co-planning, co-teaching, and providing feedback to teachers across all subject areas. Mentor new teachers during their first and second years while building strong relationships with administrators and support staff. Collaborate with the Office of Curriculum and Leadership to align curriculum instruction with MCAS district initiatives and strategic goals. Support staff in using data and student work samples to improve instruction and deliver professional development focused on accelerating achievement for diverse populations. Promote cultural competencies and equity through coaching activities and develop weekly coaching logs aligned to student learning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Five years of classroom experience
- Record of successfully impacting student learning
- Proven ability to work cooperatively and effectively with colleagues
- Proven ability to use data to improve student achievement
