Job Summary
Instructional Coach position in a school district requiring a SC teaching certificate and master's degree. Responsibilities include developing and delivering coaching for teachers, modeling lessons, conducting observations and conferences for feedback, facilitating teacher seminars, assisting with classroom management procedures, providing curriculum and content resources, and supporting teacher growth through goal-setting and reflection. Requires ability to train, mentor, and collaborate with staff, adapt to busy school schedules, and participate in district professional development. Location at Manning Junior High School under the supervision of the Principal; travel as needed within the district.
Required Qualifications
- Current South Carolina Teacher Certificate
- Master's degree required
- prior experience as a lead teacher, mentor, or teacher trainer; or any equivalent combination of education and experience
- SC Mentor Training for initial certification as a mentor; continued training to support professional growth in coaching and mentoring
