Instructional Coach (2455)

Observe classroom instruction to provide feedback and demonstrate lessons that reflect accommodations for individual differences. Conduct small and large group trainings to support teachers in guiding the learning process toward state and local curriculum goals. Monitor screenings, observation, and documentation of student progress in GOLD while assisting with appropriate assessments and referrals. Evaluate classroom set-up and teacher/child interactions through the Classroom Assessment Scoring System. Develop materials, policies, and training based on current research in early childhood education. Provide staff development, lead staff meetings, and serve on committees. Communicate effectively with management and recommend classroom materials and supplies.
