Job Summary
Instructional Coach role focused on enhancing instructional practices across disciplines by providing coaching, implementing a coaching model, and delivering ongoing professional development to leadership teams and teachers using student assessment data. Responsibilities include collaborating with the principal and leadership teams to identify instructional needs, using data to guide planning and intervention, applying district observation tools, co-teaching and modeling lessons, promoting active student learning strategies at the elementary level, and supporting continuous teacher growth, content delivery, and student achievement. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree (Masters Preferred), a valid SC Teaching Certificate, and experience mentoring/coaching or guiding instructional practices; cognitive coach training is preferred. The role involves serving on staff committees, participating in staff development, and contributing to curriculum implementation and differentiation in Tier 1 instruction.
