Instructional Assistant - Title I - Part Time - Eisenhower Center for Innovation

Provide (under direct supervision) a variety of instructional activities to support the classroom teacher and/or interventionist working with students who are academically disadvantaged in Reading, Writing, and Math. Work in close proximity with assigned teacher and specific students; assist students, individually or in groups, to reinforce skills and/or oversee learning activities; follow a written plan to supplement classroom instruction; assist with classroom computer instruction; assist with translation when necessary; participate in professional development to enhance ability to support student achievement; participate as a stakeholder in school improvement initiatives; complete training to assist in the administration and scoring of assessments; maintain regular and on-time attendance; perform other related duties to ensure efficient functioning; assist with other assigned duties as appropriate; support students with disabilities in various settings; collaborate with special education, general education staff, therapists, and administrators.
