Instructional Assistant Title I & Non-Instructional Assistant - Cafeteria and/or Playground - Part-Time - Lowell Elementary School

Provide instructional support under direct supervision to assist classroom teachers and interventionists working with academically disadvantaged students in Reading, Writing, and Math. Tasks include working closely with the assigned teacher and students, reinforcing skills individually or in groups, following a written plan to supplement instruction, assisting with classroom computer instruction, providing translation when necessary, participating in professional development, contributing to school-improvement initiatives, and assisting with administration and scoring of assessments. Must maintain regular attendance, perform related duties to ensure efficient operations, and be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, and kneel frequently; may assist with transferring students and lifting-dependent tasks. Requires ability to work with students and staff, strong verbal/written communication, and organizational skills.
