Job Summary
Assist students individually or in small groups with academic and behavioral support as directed by the teacher. Help maintain a safe, orderly, and inclusive environment that values students' cultures and identities while supervising students in classrooms and during transitions. Reinforce classroom expectations and positive behavior supports by following all school procedures and staff directions. Adapt to different classrooms and student needs across preschool through high school assignments determined by district requirements. Maintain confidentiality and follow FERPA guidelines while demonstrating reliability and flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mandatory reporter training for child abuse
- Willingness to obtain mandatory reporter training for child abuse
